Paint the Lake (1) New Year Classes. Sat 25 Feb 10.00am - 4.00pm
(Second in series of two stand-alone workshops.) Suitable as a follow-on from Part 1, or if you have some previous experience of landscape painting. Paint in the Painting Zone studio-gallery. Bring your ideas and references, or walk with us to take photos/ create sketch-studies directly from the Abby Grounds lake. Learn to plan and realise a landscape composition, and to use acrylic paints skilfully for atmospheric effects. Plan your colours combining and mixing harmonious colours. If you are taking part for two days, you may want to work on a larger painting, or create more than one smaller piece. Work at your own pace within a small friendly group, with experienced one-to-one tuition on hand if required. Basic materials are available. Limited spaces and early booking is advised.
