(Day 1 in series of two stand-alone workshops on drawing and painting the human head. Day 1 is a drawing workshop, Day 2 is about painting the head.) In the Painting Zone studio-gallery, this drawing workshop is suitable for anyone starting or with a little experience of drawing the head, or is returning after a break. You’ll learn the proportions of the head and face, and how to use light, shadow and sensitive line to depict facial contours. We’ll be using soft pencils and charcoal. Work at your own pace within a small friendly group, with experienced one-to-one tuition on hand. Basic materials are available. Limited spaces and early booking is advised.
