DIVE DEEPER - EXPLORE & CELEBRATE WHAT MAKES YOUR ART UNIQUE: IDEAS, CONCEPTS, TECHNIQUES & A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY.
Six-week Deeper Dive courses are available to book continuously through the year, or intermittently. Suitable for intermediate or advanced level participants with a broad level of painting and drawing experience, each course is a chance to lift your art creatively and technically.
You'll be able to create an individual painting project, a series of related artworks based on your inspirations on a theme of your choice.
Your art series will be different from those of other participants. Examples of inspirations Deeper Dive students have worked from are a dream, an inspiring fairy tale, an exciting piece of art from the past, a poem, a memory, a favorite rural landscape, a garden, a vibrant abstraction idea, an aspect of nature closely observed, a portrait of a loved one, a colourful still life arrangement, an animal, a characterful Cotswold scene.
You'll be free to self direct your own painting processes as much as you wish, and expert tuition is available to help you shape and start your series, providing technical guidance whenever you require it. There are also optional group technical exercises and warm-ups offered.
You'll learn by seeing relevant examples of art by past artists, technical demonstrations, practical exercises, group discussions and receiving one-to-one tutor support, feedback and guidance.
Use of boards, table easels, acrylic paints and drawing materials and cartridge paper are provided.
