A 2 day painting retreat-style workshop, designed for your self connection, relaxation and creativity, as well as to build and progress your painting skills. Beeches Studio is located in the Cotswolds market town of Cirencester, distinctive for it's historical charm and easily accessibility by road, rail and coach from London and regional cities. A popular, well developed tourist hub, Cirencester has quaint streets, beautiful architecture and vibrant shops & markets to delight visitors. Cirencester offers The Corinium museum, a stunning Cathederal-sized parish church, a vibrant Arts centre and an array of cafes and restaurants.
The weekend workshop includes simple hands-on painting introductory exercises to get you started, followed by a peaceful lakeside walk with water-colour sketching (weather permitting.) Afterwards you’ll relax into painting in the studio using acrylic paints, with expert step-by-step guidance on choosing a subject and developing your painting towards completion over the weekend. Painting provides an invaluable opportunity to de-stress and the aim of the weekend is to help you to find your creative zone, follow your flow and observe nature deeply. You'll be supported use loose expressive brushstrokes skillfully, and to mix a harmonious colour palette.
The price includes an optional light lunch & refreshments each day, all materials and the use of equipment.

GETTING HERE
The nearest main-line train station is at Kemble, 5 miles from Cirencester, connected by a bus service. a Taxi-ride from the station to Cirencester Centre takes approximately 12 minutes. National Coaches stop in the centre of the town.

The town is said to be replete with centrally located hotels and Air B&Bs, within easy walking distance of Beeches Studio.
