"Permission to Play." Abstract skills morning workshop. Learn how to create & develop personal, intuitive paintings. Fri 29 Sept 2023, 10.00am - 1pm
This is one of a series of abstract painting workshops which will be scheduled through the year. The morning will involve having fun, getting your hands dirty and developing your intuitive mark making into meaningful abstract compositions. You’ll learn spontaneity techniques to release new visual ideas, which you can use in the future to generate new paintings. In a relaxed workshop setting you’ll also learn how to develop sketchbook ideas into an individual work of art, working at your own pace. Experienced one-to-one guidance is on hand. Basic materials are available and feel free also to bring some of your own to experiment with. Limited spaces so early booking is advised. This workshop can stand alone but there will be other Permission to Play abstract workshops scheduled through the year, where you can further develop on your skills.
